Shamanic Breathing

There is no such thing as illness. Everything is Spirit and it is outside forces which cause imbalance to occur. When the outside force ( such as an unwanted spirit or energy) is removed, then the effect upon the physical body will be released and balance will be restored once more.

God is love. We are in a Universe based in the frequency of love. Working with the energy when carrying out healing is knowing that this is the power of the Universal life force or love. Love is the healing power and the shaman are simply the chanelers or transmitters of this healing energy.

Shamanic Breathing

Our breath is the link between physical body and soul. The shamanic breathing technique involves taking deep breaths by inhaling through the nostrils, expanding the diaphragm and stomach, and holding; and then exhaling via the mouth. The whole purpose of using this technique before practicing the shamanic healing is in order to become the “Breath of God”.

Remember that the sacredness of this system is of great importance. Although the system itself is simple, the sequence, which is guided by the Breathe of God, is the key to its effectiveness.

Breath is the link between our physical body and our soul.

  1. To breathe deeply, inhale through the nostrils, expand in the diaphragm and stomach, and hold.

  2. Exhale through the mouth.

  3. The consciousness behind the breathing before practicing shamanic healing is to become the breathe of Creation. Visualize yourself taking in and becoming filled with the Light of Creation.

  4. Fill yourself as never-ending channel of love; breathing love in and exhaling love out.

  5. The emotional feeling of love is vital in sending out symbols. (You will learn this in the Guarani Shamanic Healing class)

  6. Open the heart and use the feeling.

  7. This emotional feeling of love increase within as the symbols are visualized and held. Rather than trying to achieve this mentally, allow your mind to merge with the Divine through conscious intent.

  8. At the moment of sending symbols, the shaman is All Love and is in the moment, in the Circle of life with the Creator and All that is. By gathering the pure Light of Creation and feeling the Love of Creation, the energy is transported to its destination via the Breathe of Creation. The practitioner merely serves as a transportation vessel.

  9. The symbols are released to do their work on an out breathe or exhale.
