APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation Notice: A full 24 hours' notice is required for canceling appointments. Clients can cancel online through their account in the Acuity booking app, or if that's not possible, by contacting us directly at hello@brandynielson.com. Please note that online cancellations can only be made with more than 24 hours' notice.
Late Cancellations and No-Shows: If you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment time, you will be billed for the full cost of your appointment. This policy also applies to same-day bookings that are subsequently canceled. Clients who fail to show up for a scheduled appointment (“no-show”) will be billed for the full cost of the session.
Appointment Reminders: Clients receive email reminders 24 hours before their appointment time, set up through their client profile in the Acuity App. SMS reminders are also available 72 hours and 1 hour before the session. Clients can log in to their profile at any time to deactivate these reminders but understand that they are then solely responsible for remembering their appointment time. Deactivated reminders are a common reason for missed appointments. Occasionally, technical issues may prevent reminders from being sent. These reminders are a courtesy; clients are responsible for keeping or canceling their appointment regardless of whether they receive a reminder. Prepaid Coaching Packages: If you have purchased a coaching package and cancel a prepaid session with less than 24 hours' notice or miss the session, it will count as having been used.
RETREATS, CEREMONIES, EVENTS, WORKSHOPS, AND CLASSES CANCELLATION POLICY
At Brandy Nielson Healing International, our retreats, ceremonies, events, workshops, and classes are designed for a small number of attendees to ensure a personable and intimate experience. To facilitate this, our cancellation policy aims to help both guests and organizers manage any unexpected cancellations.
Hold Deposits:
Non-Refundable: All hold deposits are non-refundable.
Transferable: Hold deposits (minus a $100 re-listing fee) are transferable to another new attendee found and assigned by the original attendee.
Payment Policy:
Balance Due: Full balance is due 30 days before the start date of the event unless otherwise noted.
Cancellation Requests:
30 Days Prior: If you cancel within 30 days of the retreat date, 50% of the total amount (less the deposit) will be refunded.
29 Days or Less: No refunds will be given for cancellations made within 29 days of the retreat.
Processing Fees:
Any refunds granted will incur a 3% processing fee.
We understand that unforeseen events can occur. However, it is your responsibility to read and understand our cancellation policies. Exceptions cannot be made for any reason, including weather, injury/illness, or personal emergencies. No refunds or credits will be provided for failure to attend, failure to complete the retreat, late arrivals, or early departures.
Travel Insurance:
If you are traveling to the event from out of province or country, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance and trip cancellation insurance to cover your trip fees in case of medical issues before or during the trip.
Trip insurance should also cover medical expenses in the event of an accident during the retreat. Most travel insurance policies need to be purchased within 14 days of making your reservation.
Event Cancellations:
We reserve the right to cancel events due to inadequate participant interest. In such cases, all money paid to Brandy Nielson Healing International will be refunded. Notification of cancellation for this reason will occur at least 1 month prior to the retreat start date.
Brandy Nielson Healing International is not responsible for any personal expenses, such as airline tickets, due to changes in itineraries or retreat cancellations.
